Presbyopia is the condition of changes in the eyes that occur with aging. This process is part of the aging process, as a result of the hardening of the lens of the eye causing the eye to focus light behind rather than on the retina when looking at close objects. It is a type of error of refractive together with farsightedness, astigmatism and the nearsightedness.
