The difference between two numbers is 48. five times the smaller is equal to 8 more than the larger. what are the numbers?

let the bigger no. = x+48
smaller no. = x
5x = x + 56
4x = 56
x = 14
x + 48 = 62

Check :
62-14= 48
5×14= 70 is equal to 62+8=70

Ans : 14 and 62
