As compared with their likelihood at public schools, child homicides are more likely at private schools. When analyzing the homicide rates both at private and public educational institutions, it is clear that there is a steep decrease in the level which occurs at public schools, as opposed to private ones. This can be due to the geographic location or other security measures that may be taken.
