Well, I do not know what operation you mean by into but I will convert them for you. There is 3 feet in one yard, so 1.5 yard is basically 4.5 feet. 
2.5 feet into 4.5 feet is a 2 foot difference if you are asking how to make 2.5 feet into 1.5 yards. I hope this helps :-)
